As the Head of the factory in Brno you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of factory operations, with focus on the highest standards of production, quality, and safety. This role requires a strategic problem solver with strong leadership skills and the ability to bring together different teams. An open networking approach and a deep understanding of manufacturing & planning processes, ideally out of the rotating equipment industry is fundamental for this position.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Drive the strategic development and competitiveness of the manufacturing organization including supporting the development of manufacturing policies, guidelines, programs and standards.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals. Monitor and ensure on time delivery, quality and competitive cost level.
• Build and promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while implementing and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
• Apply lean principles & thinking to actively develop the organization to the next level. Implement innovations in the field of factory automation and digitalization to build the factory of the future.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team through transformation by providing mentorship and support to team members, fostering professional growth.
• Be a role-model of collaboration with internal and external partners, including suppliers, customers and the global manufacturing team.

What You Bring

• University degree or equivalent in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience with a demonstrable track record in leading, developing and transforming teams.
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on change management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• English language fluency is a must, while additional knowledge in Czech language is an advantage.
• Experience in managing teams in an international environment, preferably in new business as well as service business is a clear advantage.

About the Team

The team includes 320 highly engaged and dedicated colleagues in manufacturing team and more than 500 colleagues in other functions at the site, that make it an incredible place to work. They are committed to make a difference by applying their experience as well as their extensive professional skills. The Brno manufacturing team focuses on the production process incl. relevant technology functions, the order execution process as well as the respective quality functions, EHS and digitalization responsibilities.
