Imagine beginning your day alongside a diverse team of finance professionals, working together to guarantee financial accuracy and integrity. As a Financial Controller, your daily tasks will include analyzing financial statements, participating in strategy meetings, and applying your expertise to influence crucial business decisions. You will collaborate closely with different departments to confirm the accuracy and alignment of all financial records with established guidelines. Your role will play a vital part in crafting the financial direction of Siemens Energy.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Having a clear understanding of financial statements and with analytical skills with strong reasoning abilities.
• Controller plays the pivotal role as business partner to BU.
• Report and present various business KPIs as required by local management and HUB.
• Ensure the accuracy of project books and records with collaboration with CPMs. Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, including SAP, Siemens-FRG, and local GAAP requirements.
• P&L and balance sheet review with the team (AR / AP / change in NCE / WIP/ GIT, GR/IR clearing etc.) and analyze the cash flow.
• Ability to Analyze Hedge accounting and FX impact and ability to analyze w2w figures.

What You Bring 

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting with at least 3-5 years’ experience in controlling. Proficiency with standard accounting principles.
• Preparation of annual budget, business plans & monthly forecasts and report on the financial status for a portfolio / product line. Coordinate monthly reporting activities.
• Drive performance controlling and continuous improvement programs. Drive annual reorganization in SAP. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Ensure smooth month-end and year-end close processes and maintain clean booked & records.
• The role also demands strong collaboration skills, team player as well as strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders, at various levels and thorough understanding of Siemens Energy Guidelines.
• Strong competence in using IT Tools including Microsoft (especially Excel, PowerPoint), EPM+ & relevant data analysis tools and visualization, SAP, SMART reports and Salesforce applications.
• Positive attitude to work in a challenging environment and in embracing high performance cultures.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
