Electronics technician for the installation of new electrolysis plants and ancillary systems.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Installation of electrolysis plants and their ancillary systems in the role of Technical Field Advisor (TFA)
- Compliance with and implementation of safety (HSE) and quality standards (EQS)
- Supervision / Execution of all assembly work based on Field Quality Plans (FQP)
- Coordination of the assembly process (man scaffolding, scheduling of subcontractors)
- Supervision of component positioning
- Supervision and coordination of cable laying work and connections
- Monitoring and assessment of insulation and earthing tests
- Carrying out and supervising inspection work / adjustments
- Processing the associated documentation
- Preparing construction site reports
- Coordinating the progress of work between the customer and Siemens Energy scopes
- Appointment as a qualified electrician by the employer
- Application and familiarization with standards and norms
- Reporting discrepancies and non-conformities in order to propose project-specific solutions and ensure a feedback of information and experience
- Planning cable routes in compliance with norms, standards and regulations
- Support with claim management on the construction site and ensuring that the contractually agreed services are provided
- Support with wiring work
- Handling cable lists, cable connection lists and circuit diagrams
- Support with construction site preparation
- Compliance with quality standards and reporting of defects
What You Bring
- College/university degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience, such as a Bachelor's or Diploma.
- Vocational degree (IHK) / Chamber of Crafts Degree / Certified technician /
- Mechatronics technician / Electrical technician etc.
- Managing and instructing subcontractors on construction sites
- Unlimited worldwide willingness to travel for field service (mandatory)
- Language skills: English - min. Level B1[1]
- Be able to work independently and autonomously in the technical field
- Strong interpersonal skills, team cohesion and coordination skills
- Application of standards and norms from the field of electrical engineering/installation
- Basic understanding of circuit diagrams/cable lists
- Organized (overview of activities / deliveries / modifications / missing material / quality defects)
- Basic knowledge of cable types and cable laying/requirements, route construction and explosion protection
