A Snapshot of Your Day
As an electronics technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation of new electrolysis plants and their ancillary systems. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that all electronic components are integrated seamlessly and function optimally. You will be responsible for setting up and configuring advanced systems that contribute to the production of clean energy, while also adhering to industry standards and safety protocols. Your work will not only support the deployment of innovative technologies but also help pave the way for a more sustainable energy future.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Oversee the installation of electrolysis plants and ancillary systems as a Technical Field Advisor (TFA).
- Ensure compliance with safety (HSE) and quality standards (EQS) during all operations.
- Supervise assembly work according to Field Quality Plans (FQP) and coordinate the assembly process.
- Oversee component positioning, cable laying, connections, and conduct insulation and earthing tests.
- Prepare construction site reports, manage documentation, and coordinate work progress between the customer and Siemens Energy.
- Support claim management, wiring work, and ensure compliance with norms, standards, and quality reporting
What You Bring
- College or university degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience required.
- Vocational degree or certification in related fields (e.g., mechatronics, electrical technician).
- Experience managing and instructing subcontractors on construction sites.
- Willingness to travel worldwide for field service is essential.
- Proficiency in English at a minimum B1 level, along with strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering standards, circuit diagrams, cable types, and safety requirements.
