A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Electrical Solution Engineer (Senior), your day begins with reviewing project updates and collaborating with the engineering team to address ongoing challenges. You'll focus on conducting solution engineering for power plants, E-BoP, and substations, particularly in the areas of Electrical Protection and Generator Excitation Systems. This involves developing both basic and detailed designs, sizing electrical systems, and crafting essential user documentation such as design reports, single-line diagrams, and circuit diagrams. You can expect to also apply product-specific software tools like DIGSI 5 and Digureg PC-Tool to support software development and ensure that all designs adhere to international standards and customer requirements.
Throughout the day, you'll conduct engineering studies, including short-circuit, power flow, and transient stability analyses, using network planning software such as PSS Sincal, ETAP, or DigSilent. As the Lead Project Engineer, you autonomously guide the design process and participate in technical meetings with both internal stakeholders and customers to gather feedback and refine our approach. Additionally, expect to collaborate with the go-to-market and bid management teams to provide conceptual engineering insights and technical solutions for system component pre-sizing, ensuring that we are well-prepared for upcoming bids and project opportunities.
