A Snapshot of Your Day
Join Gamesa Electric as the driving force behind workplace safety and environmental excellence at our San Fernando de Henares (Madrid) site, owning the EHS area for two major industrial centers in Madrid and Valencia. You’ll guide a dedicated team, design and implement robust health, safety, and environmental processes, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations. Every day, you’ll collaborate with company leadership, represent the business in key committees, and champion a culture of prevention and well-being. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and supervise your assigned team, ensuring high standards in health, safety, and environmental practices across two industrial centers.
- Design, coordinate, and implement internal EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines and processes, adapting to new regulations and company needs.
- Plan and complete EHS programs and projects, supervise breakthroughs, and prepare detailed reports for both internal and external collaborators.
- Collaborate with HR to identify training needs, select and handle associated training actions, and cultivate a culture of continuous learning.
- Represent the company in PRL committees, maintain operational contact with external authorities, and drive compliance in both production facilities and field operations.
What You Bring
- University degree in electrical engineering or related field (highly valued), or significant experience in the electrical/electronic/renewable energy sector.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in the three prevention specialties: Safety, Hygiene, and Ergonomics (required).
- Proven experience in PRL leadership roles within industrial and field environments, with solid understanding of electrical risk and relevant regulations. (7 years minimum)
- C1 level English proficiency and a valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and persuasion skills, with a thorough, methodical, and customer focused approach.
