A Snapshot of Your Day

Step into a role where you lead the Automation and Protection scope for offshore wind, power-to-X, and transmission projects. Your day will involve managing Protection, Metering, and Substation Control Systems (SCS) from the bidding phase through execution and handover to service. You’ll work closely with sales teams, procurement, and international business units, ensuring technical excellence and smooth coordination across all interfaces. Expect dynamic collaboration, supplier leadership, and hands-on involvement in both sales opportunities and live projects.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead the development of Protection, Metering , Network, Cybersecurity, and SCS solutions during sales and execution phases
  • Manage the project team for Protection and Automation during all phases of the project
  • Manage and coordinate project work, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, budget, and timelines
  • Facilitate interface management internally and externally across multiple stakeholders
  • Provide technical input to Procurement for supplier selection and onboarding
  • Collaborate proactively with project managers and specialists in areas such as networks, IT systems, and cybersecurity
  • Drive quality assurance of supplier deliverables and ensure readiness for site activities

What You Bring

  • Degree in electrical engineering, automation, or similar, combined with practical experience in designing, engineering, testing, and commissioning of Protection or SCADA systems
  • Proven track record in managing scopes within large, complex projects
  • Strong understanding of interfaces and data flows between protection or SCADA systems and other substation systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead suppliers and ensure compliance with technical and contractual requirements
  • Project- and customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills to align technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Flexibility to travel internationally when required
