  • Manage multi-currency cash pooling structures and intercompany financing arrangements in compliance with Taiwan’s regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor bank account structures, streamline bank connectivity (e.g., SWIFT, local clearing systems), and resolve payment processing issues specific to Taiwan’s banking environment.

Foreign Exchange & Risk Mitigation

  • Execute proactive FX hedging strategies for TWD and other APAC currencies, adhering to Taiwan’s Foreign Exchange Regulations and internal risk policies.
  • Analyze currency exposure risks for Taiwan-based projects and provide actionable hedging recommendations.
  • Reconcile trades, manage settlements, and ensure accurate reporting for all treasury transactions.

Banking & Credit Facilities

  • Negotiate and maintain credit facilities (e.g., overdrafts, guarantees) with Taiwanese banks to support local business operations.
  • Administer bank guarantees, standby L/Cs, and performance bonds in alignment with Taiwan’s legal and compliance standards.
  • Evaluate bank service fees and drive cost optimization for treasury operations in Taiwan.

Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Ensure adherence to Taiwan’s Central Bank regulations, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws, and tax requirements for treasury activities.
  • Digitize treasury processes (e.g., TMS implementation, API banking) to enhance efficiency and transparency.
  • Support internal audits and maintain robust documentation for treasury controls in Taiwan.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CTP/ACT certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of hands-on treasury experience, preferably in a multinational corporation with exposure to Taiwan’s financial regulations.
  • Expertise in TWD liquidity management, FX hedging, and cash pooling structures within Taiwan.
  • Familiarity with local banking platforms and payment systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VBA) and treasury management systems.
