An exciting opportunity awaits within Digital Grid South East Europe: as a Tender Engineer, this role contributes to shaping high-quality proposals for Grid Automation Solutions and further Digital Grid portfolio elements. The position combines technical expertise, customer focus, and close collaboration in an international environment where market-leading Digital Grid solutions are brought to life.

Reporting directly to the Head of Tender Management, the role involves close collaboration with Business Development, Sales, and Application Engineering to support compelling proposal activities and customer-focused solutions. This cross-functional collaboration supports compelling proposal activities, addresses customer needs, and helps strengthen the market position of Siemens Energy’s Digital Grid business.

Located in Split, Zagreb or Osijek (Croatia), you will be a part of the team of Pro Integris d.o.o. who is the 100% Siemens Energy subsidiary/legal entity.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Prepare high-quality, timely proposals for EPCs and end customers in the field of protection and control systems for HV/MV substations.
• Analyze customer specifications and translate technical requirements into tailored hardware and software solution proposals.
• Develop, edit, and refine proposal responses as well as other sales-related documents with a strong focus on clarity and quality.
• Collaborate closely with technical experts and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, competitive, and customer-focused bids.
• Build a strong understanding of customer goals, operational challenges, and business requirements to support solution-oriented proposals.
• Review and validate the technical aspects of offered solutions to help deliver compelling and reliable bid submissions.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a comparable qualification, combined with at least three years of experience in substation control and protection systems for energy transmission and distribution.
• Solid understanding of the transmission and distribution utility market, including customer requirements, business opportunities, competition, and relevant technologies.
• Technical knowledge of protection and control systems, HMI solutions, SCADA, and cybersecurity within power system applications.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to balance customer needs, technical requirements, and commercial objectives.
• Analytical mindset, critical thinking skills, and a solution-oriented approach to complex, cross-functional challenges.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in technical and business settings, very good English skills, and willingness to travel up to 20%; German language skills are an advantage.
