A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Import Export Specialist for the Customs department, you will be responsible for providing instructions for the import/export clearance to the customs broker for factory Leon and Guanajuato; you will also be responsible for following up instructions, ensuring that the import/export process is performed in accordance with the current customs legislation.How You’ll Make an Impact
- Creation of the instructions for the customs broker for all the import/export shipments for factory León and Guanajuato by using our GTM (General Trade Management) system.
- Send instructions to the customs broker for customs clearance by our General Trade Management (GTM)
- Ensure the correct elaboration of the import/export pedimentos and ensure that the complete operation has been carried out in accordance with the current legislation and in accordance with the internal guidelines.
- Active participation in different activities of the customs department to improve processes.
What You Bring
- Professional experience: 2 to 4 years.
- Bachelor's degree: International Trade, Commerce, foreign trade.
- Experience in customs legislation (LA, RLA, RGCE, Rules of the Ministry of Economics, etc.).
- Experience in coordination of import / export shipments.
- English at a professional working level.
- Demonstrated ability to focus on project work and efficiently bring projects to completion
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work with supervision and follow instructions.
- Critical Thinking and Emotional Intelligence
- This is a temporary contract position
