A Snapshot of Your Day 

The supply planner is the operational interface for buying materials, based on suppliers & prices provided by Procurement. The responsibilities include follow up to ensure placing of POs within the required lead time to ensure on-time delivery. Timeline is set by respective planner for the module/component. For quality topics, close alignment with respective EQS responsible is required.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

• Ensure on time deliveries of materials from a global supplier base.
• Create purchase orders and follow up on order confirmations.
• Create and maintain Scheduling agreement orders.
• Create return orders.
• Reschedule deliveries according updating demands.
• Maintain daily contact with suppliers regarding operational issues and mitigate risks of delays.
• Expedite and devise alternative solutions to resolve backorders in a timely manner.
• Coordinate ECNs with suppliers.
• Keep track of KPIs, review supplier performance, address issues and identify improvement opportunities and follow up steps.
• Support in supplier development and continuous improvement.
• Prepare report various reports from SAP.
• Work within cross-functional team (Strategic Procurement, Quality, Technology)

What You Bring

• You have a relevant educational background and preferably 3-5 years of experience within the specialist area.
• You are experienced in supply chain management and procurement functions.
• You have knowledge about the concept behind ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• You are a strong communicator with interpersonal skills and are able to work in dynamic work environment under pressure.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office is required.
• You have an analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You take initiative and have an ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
• You have great English skills, both orally and in writing.
