How You’ll Make an Impact

• Support business strategy development with local insights such as analysis of customer needs and the local supplier market
• Adopt and implement local and regional commodity strategies tailored to specific requirements
• Develop local solutions for ad hoc issues where global standards do not apply
• Manage suppliers at the country level, ensuring efficient procurement processes
• Negotiate favorable contract and commercial terms and conditions. Monitor existing and new frame agreements to reveal commercial opportunities
• Work with cross-functional colleagues to align category sourcing activities with business needs and develop strong collaborator relationships

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or equivalent
• With more than 3 years of experience as a procurement strategic buyer, showcasing established proficiency
• Experience in developing commodity strategies and contracting within a large corporate environment. Background in project procurement business or related companies
• Strong analytical and commercial skills, combined with a pragmatic approach. Effective negotiation and conflict management skills. Confident communicator with strong social competence and a good sense of the “right tone” for interacting at all organizational levels
• Sufficient contract and legal knowledge to navigate complex agreements
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus
