As a Software for Data Acquisition & Real-Time Processing Work Student in Siemens Gamesa, you´ll be passionate about improving the quality of electrical data processing by developing software that automates repetitive tasks, allowing validators to work more efficiently. Collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and product managers, you embraced an innovation-driven mindset, continuously learning and iterating on your solutions to optimize operational test bench time and support machine learning model training.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Design and implement a robust software architecture for centralizing data from various acquisition systems, including Modbus and TCP/IP protocols.
- Develop and maintain real-time data processing pipelines utilizing tools such as Python, streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, MQTT), and databases (e.g., SQLite, PostgreSQL) to ensure efficient data handling.
- Integrate diverse acquisition systems with central servers to facilitate flawless data storage and analysis, improving overall system performance.
- Collaborate closely with testing teams to gather and understand technical requirements, adapting software solutions to meet specific needs and improve operational efficiency.

- Eagerness to learn about electrical technologies and industrial protocols, coupled with a collaborative spirit to work effectively within cross-disciplinary teams of engineers, physicists, and technicians.
