A Snapshot of Your Day

This role strengthens the Electrical Design Tools team within the Transformers business unit and supports business continuity. You will develop and maintain specialized software tools that engineering teams depend on for transformer design and feature implementation. Your focus will span three core areas: full lifecycle software development for design tools, ongoing maintenance and user support to protect stability and usability, and collaborative requirements engineering that turns complex engineering needs into working software solutions. This keeps your development work tightly connected to what design engineers need day by day. To succeed, you bring strong object-oriented software development experience, a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles, and an academic background in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline at an experienced professional level.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and enhance user interfaces for electrical design software using C# and WPF.
  • Implement clean, scalable, and maintainable UI components aligned with UX and architectural guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with backend developers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, and unit testing to ensure high software quality and stability.
  • Collaborate with the technical lead to analyze user stories and deliver features according to requirements and timelines.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong professional experience in C# and WPF, including MVVM and UI architecture best practices.
  • Knowledge of modern UI development standards, with Blazor experience considered as an advantage.
  • Experience in Azure DevOps, Git, Nuget and other development tools
  • Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and international teams as well as willingness to travel internationally.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
