A Snapshot of Your Day

Fulfill the R&D task and target set by the company, solve the problems happened in the manufacturing process and provide technical support and trouble shooting

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Responsible for the R&D strategy implementation together with company’s management team member. The operational implementation is supported in close collaboration with the other departments.                                       
  • Products design, realizing the technical regulation in line with the demands of the new material and future technology; Drive new smart technology and build up consistent improvement culture
  • Well cooperate with other departments to rectify and identify problem related to the design promptly, and provide support to bidding and customer trouble shooting
  • Fully responsible for the design specification standardization and standard working procedure in a costly and highly efficient way; Know-how transfer from afflicted company.        
  • Interface with Purchasing and Engineering organizations to develop localization strategy and support China localization and supplier qualification program.
  • Coordinate and lead engineering resource to implement the localization engineering tasks, including RFQ preparation, technical clarification, design review etc.
  • Provide technical support for sales, respond to the technical questions in the manufacture process.                                                                                      

What You Bring

  • At least 5 years related technical experience
  • Have a strong packaged substation system design ability: Proficient in the packaged substation electrical primary system and secondary control system, master the packaged substation enclosure structure design, familiar with heat dissipation design, noise reduction technology.
  • Relevant experience in product development: Experience in product development in Asian and Australian markets, have complete experience in product development cycle, familiar with DFMEA, reliability testing.
  • Have ability to adapt to overseas markets: Familiar with the relevant packaged substation standards, product certification process and energy efficiency requirements in Asian and Australian markets.
  • Have team management and project ability: Experience in leading a team of more than 5 people, familiar with new product development process, able to make research and development plans, have supplier management experience, and select local or domestic suppliers that meet overseas standards.
  • Fluent in English (proficient in reading and writing, able to communicate with customers in technical meetings), able to independently interpret overseas standard documents and write English technical reports.
  • Cross-cultural communication skills, adapt to the mode of collaboration with overseas customers and partners.
  • Pay attention to industry trends, can integrate new technologies into products, have patent layout awareness, and can lead the intellectual property protection of core technologies.

  • Bachelor degree and above. Master is a plus
  • Major in Engineering, Automation and etc. Good command of English speaking
