As a Senior Controller within the Business Partner Team for Product management your typical day would involve dealing with a significant amount of complex business data, such as Research and Development (R&D) projects, business cases for new products and solutions, innovation processes.

You will work closely with Product management teams to develop and implement R&D commercial project management and ensure creating the value adding analysis and transparency for management decisions.

Your role would be to ensure success in managing the R&D projects from commercial side, providing guidance and driving efficiency in processes and standardization throughout the whole business area.

In addition, you would work closely with project controllers in our team, supporting their mission to be reliable and trustful partners to project managers.

• Lead and coordinate R&D Projects planning and reporting process globally and consolidate the input on business area level
• Provide governance on commercial project management to project controllers, ensuring their active contribution to project execution and support of project managers in recurring tasks
• Actively challenge business data by value added analysis and providing recommendations for management decisions
• Build up processes and foster standardization in project business cases evaluation across the business area
• Participate in implementation of various project management operational and strategic tools, ensuring active involvement of financial community in all set ups
• Consolidate Product Management financials as a global function view, including top-down and bottom-up inputs, act as an interface to operational controlling teams
• Represent finance in external fundings and R&D partnership agreements, ensuring commercial requirements are fulfilled and accurately managed

• Several years of experience in Controlling/Finance. Project management experience is an advantage.
• A completed university degree in business administration, finance, economy or similar
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Growth mindset, focus on solutions and willingness to work in a very dynamic international environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English, German and other languages are a plus
