A Snapshot of Your Day

Are you ready to put your expertise in the energy sector to work on projects that shape a more sustainable future? We’re seeking a Senior Consultant Network Studies to join our global team of passionate innovators.

In this role, you will take the lead in delivering high-impact power transmission studies, working side-by-side with customers to create tailor-made solutions that boost efficiency and lower environmental impact. You will act as a strategic advisor, guiding clients toward the best technical choices for their unique needs, and ensuring that every project you touch drives measurable results in the journey toward clean, reliable energy.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead consulting engagements from start to finish—aligning, coaching, and inspiring a team of experts from diverse technical and cultural backgrounds.
  • Oversee execution of power system analyses, transmission and industrial network planning, and grid interconnection studies for large-scale generation, storage, and load resources.
  • Partner with clients to ensure successful grid connection requests, identifying risks and clarifying commercial implications.
  • Support integration of technologies such as power electronics, renewable generation, storage systems, and HVDC into AC grids—covering the full journey from concept to project delivery.
  • Conduct high-frequency phenomena analyses, including harmonic distortion, transient overvoltage, TRV, missing zero-crossings, and inrush currents.
  • Contribute to business development by preparing proposals to address client challenges and assembling the right execution teams.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred) and more than 8 years of experience in steady-state and transient power system analysis.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and coach multidisciplinary teams.
  • Expert knowledge of transmission planning and operational studies (100 kV–765 kV), including load flow, dynamic stability, voltage stability, protection coordination, short-circuit, and transfer limit analyses.
  • Advanced skills in HVDC, FACTS applications, power transmission systems, industrial power supply concepts, power electronics, and renewable generation integration.
  • Proficiency with industry-leading simulation tools: PSS/E, TARA, PSLF, DigSilent PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD/EMTDC, MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
