A Snapshot of Your Day 

In your new role as Senior Business Development (f/m/d) you will prepare, manage, and forecast development activities of Digital Grid within Grid Technologies. Therefore, you will manage large strategic programs, which include participation of external partners as well various functions across the SE organization. You will analyze risks and drive innovations via an experimental approach. Further on you will present your new ideas successfully and influence our stakeholders.    

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Planning, implementing, tracking, and reporting on project schedule and major outcomes (incl. deliverables and milestones)
  • Contribute to new business models development, evaluate, and prioritize the impact of new technology development, market trends and customer needs
  • Develop detailed technical-economic analysis, with a strong focus on customer requirements
  • Lead, coordinate, and support partnership activities in alignment with our business and innovation targets
  • Occasionally undertaking and/or supporting authoring of management and technical deliverables

What You Bring

  • Completed Uuniversity degree in engineering, computer science, or similar field, additional qualifications such as MBA are a plus
  • Long-term professional experience in the field of energy systems, preferably transmission systems and products, R&D management and/or business development
  • Experience managing strategic projects and development programs, incl. budget management, partner management and stakeholder management
  • Understanding of digital solutions in the energy industry, IIOT, Digital Twins, Grid Software, Grid Automation is a plus
  • Pro-active and hands on approach to challenges and getting things done mindset
  • High level of commitment, collaboration, an integrative personality, and ability to work with multicultural teams
  • Ability to build up systematic approach from various angles and develop complex storylines to C-level executives
  • Business fluent communications skills in English to work in multi-cultural teams; German is a plus
