A Snapshot of Your Day
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Release Train Engineer or Senior Scrum Master to lead and support our Agile teams in delivering high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, ideally having transitioned from a developer role, and possess deep knowledge of Agile methodologies. This individual will be responsible for facilitating the Scrum process, coaching team members, and ensuring adherence to Agile principles while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. If needed, we would like this individual to use hands on technical experience to resolve technical issues being faced by the team or code to help team achieve the targets !
Siemens Energy (SE) “Digital Products and Solutions” team (DPS) supports all SE Business Areas in their growth of their digital business.
We consult, design and develop tailored solutions for the customer market, based on their specific technical and commercial constraints.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to ensure effective collaboration.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize the backlog and align with business goals.
- Identify and resolve impediments to maintain team focus on delivering high-value increments.
- Coach team members on Agile practices, fostering self-organization and skill development.
- Monitor progress and performance using metrics, sharing updates with collaborators.
- Promote continuous improvement by encouraging process and outcome reflections.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and management for clear communication on project status, risks, and dependencies.
- Leverage technical expertise to engage with development teams, address challenges, and find solutions.
- Oversee the delivery of software applications using Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe).
- Manage technical and business collaborators while addressing project risks effectively.
What You Bring
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) with 5+ years as a Scrum Master or similar Agile leadership role.
- Previous technical experience as a developer or in DevOps is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and the Scaled Agile Framework.
- Proven ability to lead multiple Agile teams, manage priorities, and drive efficient workflows.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and analytical skills.
- Customer-focused, open-minded, and committed to continuous skill development.
- Experience working with cross-functional, global, and remote teams.
- Fluency in English and the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.

In the central Digital Products and Solutions (DPS) organization, our Software Application and Engineering department is responsible for developing software solutions for both internal and external customers.
In DPS, our software products already cover a wide range of categories, and we see many opportunities for growth: Asset Performance Management, Energy Management, Asset Monitoring, Asset Health Prediction, Customer Portal & AI-assisted Applications, Connectivity & Edge, Backend Core / Domain / Platform Services, and Professional Services.
