A Snapshot of Your Day
As an S4E Finance Capability Lead, you will play a pivotal role in Siemens Energy’s largest business transformation initiative, S4Energy (SAP S/4HANA). Acting as the central link between Finance functions, operational business units, and the S4Energy transformation organization, you will help design, implement, and deploy future-proof finance processes across multiple regions.
On a typical day, you collaborate with Finance process owners, SAP Key Users, IT experts, rollout teams, and implementation partners to ensure successful adoption of S/4HANA solutions. You drive alignment between global and regional stakeholders, identify implementation challenges, facilitate decision-making, and support the successful deployment of standardized finance processes. Through your expertise in Finance and SAP, you will help shape the future operating model of Siemens Energy’s Gas Services organization.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and coordinate S4Energy Finance activities within the Gas Services Global Commercial Operations (GCO) organization.
- Serve as the primary interface between Finance functions, operational business units, SAP Key Users, rollout teams, and IT organizations.
- Support the design, implementation, and deployment of global S/4HANA Finance processes and solutions.
- Drive alignment between regional organizations, particularly across Germany and the United States, ensuring a consistent rollout approach.
- Collaborate with process owners and SAP experts to identify implementation gaps and develop sustainable solutions.
- Facilitate decision-making processes and resolve conflicts between business requirements and standard SAP solutions.
- Coordinate closely with Get Ready and Rollout teams to ensure successful execution of deployment plans and milestones.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between Finance, IT, Operations, and external implementation partners.
- Promote process harmonization, best-practice sharing, and organizational readiness across impacted business areas.
- Act as a change agent by supporting stakeholder engagement, user adoption, and transformation initiatives throughout the organization.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience in Finance, Controlling, Financial Processes, or Finance Transformation.
- Strong SAP expertise gained through various Finance roles, with a deep understanding of finance value flows and end-to-end business processes.
- Proven experience working with SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or transformation programs.
- Sound understanding of financial controlling, reporting, governance, and process optimization.
- Experience in the Gas Services business or related industrial environments is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex transformation challenges.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex topics clearly and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to project execution.
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
- A growth mindset and passion for driving organizational change and business transformation.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
