We are seeking a talented and experienced Resource Planning Data Analyst to join our Gas Services Solutions – Operational Excellence Team at Siemens Energy. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive resource planning and resource data analysis for our solutions business. Your key responsibilities will include designing and maintaining data systems, databases, and pipelines to ensure data integrity; removing errors, duplicates, and missing values to ensure accuracy; using statistical techniques to interpret datasets, including descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics to determine trends and future outcomes; and creating interactive dashboards, reports, and charts to communicate findings to stakeholders. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring optimal resource allocation and utilization, driving excellence in resource planning, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our operational processes.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Develop and implement strategies for complex resource capacity planning, integrating demand and supply inputs to ensure optimal resource allocation.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including resource managers, functional heads, and project teams, to drive resource planning excellence and address any capacity-related challenges. Ensure resource planning processes comply with internal standards and external regulations, including ISO standards.
• Developing and managing data systems, databases, and pipelines to ensure data integrity and accessibility. Identifying and correcting errors, removing duplicates, and addressing missing values to maintain accurate datasets.
• Applying statistical techniques to analyze datasets, performing descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics to identify trends and forecast future outcomes. Creating interactive dashboards, reports, and charts to effectively communicate data insights and findings to stakeholders.
• Resource Planning and Allocation: Analyzing resource needs and availability to ensure optimal allocation and utilization, supporting strategic decision-making.
• Working with teams to define key metrics, monitor performance, and recommend operational improvements to enhance business strategies. Identifying opportunities for process enhancements in resource planning and contributing to the development of best practices.

What You Bring 

• Professional experience in solution business within the energy industry with educational background in business or a related field.
• Resource / capacity planning experience in complex solution project business
• Intercultural experience, working with diverse teams with strong conflict management skills, with the ability to handle complaints and disputes. Intercultural skills to understand and effectively respond to different cultural affinities.
• Possessing excellent relationship-building and networking skills to establish positive relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, along with strong leadership and people management abilities to navigate teams and deliver long-term results.
• Analytical approach and problem-solving skills to address work-related issues and develop solutions. Strategic thinking skills to generate unique business insights and opportunities.
• Process automation with AI techniques. Advanced process optimization skills, focusing on productivity, operational excellence, cost awareness, and simplification methods.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with entrepreneurial mindset to challenge the status quo and find opportunities.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
