Join Siemens Energy as a Regional Sales Lead – Nuclear Service, where you’ll take charge of shaping strategic service offerings and driving commercial success across the Nuclear Region in North America. You’ll collaborate closely with Account Managers, Nuclear District Service Managers, and steam turbine and generator product lines to develop winning proposals and negotiate complex contracts. Your role will be pivotal in growing the business while ensuring financial goals and risk parameters are met. Together with your team, you’ll harness advanced technologies, optimize service scopes, and build strong customer relationships – fueling innovation and powering a sustainable energy future.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Analyze customer RFQs and partner with operations to build accurate cost estimates and project schedules that meet and exceed client needs.
- Collaborate with steam turbine and generator product lines to craft proposals that showcase Siemens Energy’s value and leverage cutting-edge technology.
- Develop and implement strategic pricing based on market trends, customer requirements, and competitor insights, securing executive approval when required.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts to achieve targeted order intake and profit margins while strengthening customer relationships.
- Support outage planning and identify opportunities to expand service offerings within the nuclear sector.
- Manage a high-potential project pipeline in Salesforce.com for precise forecasting, while ensuring compliance with company procedures and Limits of Authority.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline, along with 5+ years of power generation experience, ideally in Generator or Steam Turbine Service, with a proven track record in selling or marketing service products and integrating proposals. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
- Demonstrate exceptional relationship-building skills with internal and external partners, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- Possess proficiency in Salesforce.com and sales analytics tools, along with strong analytical capabilities to drive opportunity management.
- Show excellence in negotiation, written, and verbal communication, backed by leadership skills to secure resources and influence customer decisions.
- Have a solid understanding of nuclear industry trends and standards.
- Willing to travel 25% domestically. When not traveling, you will work in-office a minimum of 3 days per week.
