A Snapshot of Your Day:

We are seeking a hands-on Quality inspector who will be responsible for overseeing everything from the procurement of raw materials to the production of electrification and automation control systems and their auxiliaries. The ideal candidate will work closely with production staff to ensure that customer requirements are consistently met throughout the production process. Key responsibilities include conducting hands-on inspections, reviewing bills of materials, preparing Inspection & Test Plans, managing customer inspections, and creating or revising project-specific work instructions and procedures as needed.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Quality Control Oversight: Manage the entire quality control process, ensuring strict adherence to established plans and specifications from raw material procurement to finished goods production.
• Material Verification: Ensure raw materials and certificates meet Siemens Energy standards and customer-specific requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with quality inspectors to ensure consistent implementation of project requirements throughout the production process.
• Assembly Inspections: Conduct regular walk-throughs of assembly process , document observations, and communicate necessary actions to the responsible group supervisor.
• Non-Conformance Management: Handle non-conformances from identification to resolution, including segregation, review, follow-ups, and logging in the respective database to maintain traceability.
• Problem-Solving: Apply standard quality problem-solving methods to identify root causes, determine corrective actions, and resolve issues.
• Hands-On Inspections: Perform hands-on inspections of materials at various manufacturing stages, ensuring proper identification and traceability of fabrication components.
• Dimensional Inspections: Conduct dimensional inspections of products in line with corresponding engineering drawings.
• Bill of Materials Review: Ensure the bill of materials for the complete systems aligns with customer-specific requirements.
• Inspection Plan Review: Review and provide feedback on inspection plans received from vendors, ensuring full compliance with project requirements.
• Inspection Notifications: Plan and issue inspection notifications in a timely manner in accordance with the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
• Documentation: Create and revise project-specific work instructions, procedures, and policies as needed to ensure effective project execution.
• Continuous Improvement: Apply continuous improvement principles to drive process enhancements.
• Safety Culture: Promote a safety culture on the shop floor and coordinate safety topics with the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team.

What You Bring:

• Engineering degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical or other equivalent disciplines
• At least 5+years of successful experience in the area of responsibility, demonstrating the key responsibilities and knowledge outlined above
• Proficiency in English language, both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving abilities and report writing skills
• Continuous improvement tools competency, Lean Expert or Practitioner, or Six Sigma Certified will be added as an advantage.
• Strong understanding of international quality standards (ASME, API, ASTM, EN, etc.) and Aramco standards (SAMSS, SAES, SAEP, etc.)
• Proficiency in MS Office applications; SAP knowledge as an added advantage
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
