A Snapshot of Your Day

You are a Program Manager in the PMO Office that puts the customer first! The PMO Office supports the Long Term Programs (LTP) organization to anticipate and find solutions that satisfy our customer’s needs. You'll collaborate with LTP PMs, Engineering, Sales and Marketing, and Order Management to ensure the LTP contract requirements at met. You will work with internal and external repair shops, understand repair processes, logistics, and parts management in order to execute your program needs.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead program management and refurbishment of large gas turbine components, including compressor and turbine blade rings, ISSH, and casing.
• Plan, develop, and execute forecast demand in coordination with stakeholders such as project managers, repair facilities, repair engineering, service engineering, and inventory teams.
• Monitor costs for budget compliance, implement cost reduction strategies, and manage vendor performance regarding on-time delivery (OTD) and quality.
• Collaborate with project management, inventory, repair, engineering, finance, field service, and marketing teams to define project requirements and resolve technical and commercial issues.
• Provide shop support, respond to QN, and resolve technical and commercial roadblocks.
• Interpret technical drawings, manage complex configurations, coordinate long-term planning and slot allocation with internal suppliers, and strategically manage repaired and unrepaired gas turbine component inventory to ensure timely availability of critical parts.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an engineering or technical field, with at least 5 years of professional experience preferred.
• Required knowledge of gas turbine technology and experience in a factory or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive strategic plans from complex details and manage supply chain processes, including inventory management systems.
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced, diverse environment with multiple stakeholders, exhibiting strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships, along with experience in purchasing, vendor contracts, and SAP PD2/OPP.
• Willingness to travel approximately more than 5% as required.

About the Team

Our team supports Service Programs by managing complex turbine components refurbishment and exchange programs. We are also responsible for Consignment Kitting programs for all large gas turbines in North America. We drive initiatives to help meet all customer requirements and continuously improve internal processes.
