Productivity Improvement Professional: Continuous Improvement Project Manager
A Snapshot of Your Day
You will be accountable to lead improvement projects from the identification of an opportunity through the sustainment phase, resolving concerns that impact our manufacturing environment.
About the Team
Productivity & Improvement Project Team – We facilitate and lead projects across LGN (Winston-Salem, Charlotte, Fort Payne, etc.) campuses to implement effective, lasting change. We are problem solvers, project managers, educational leaders, continuous improvement authorities, transformation catalysis, digitalization enthusiasts, and coaches to management and shop floor employees alike. Our role is to incorporate the strategy at every level of the organization. Assisting collaborators in this manufacturing environment, we help find opportunities to improve daily operations that impact the bottom line.

- Evaluate current manufacturing practices, identify improvement potential, and perform project management duties through sustainment
- Develop ways to analyze data and provide summary analysis to internal customers
- Lead cost savings portfolio and develop strategies
- Connect with people at all levels of our organization
- Train Lean Principles during project execution
- Demonstrate commitment to excellence through continual learning
What You Bring
- Looking for a seasoned professional in Manufacturing with a BS in Industrial Engineering with (+-) 8 years experience in applying Industrial Engineering techniques and business sense when collaborating with various teams.
- Proficiency in research, improvement, and implementation of projects that positively impact our Safety & Quality culture, schedule performance, and lower cost
- Desire and technical aptitude to understand the design of our products, how features impact design for manufacturability, material selection, and product cost
- SAP experience is desired with a demonstrated ability to evaluate drawings, line ups, BOMs and component features; this experience will be used when calculating Design for Manufacturability / financial impact, ability to coach teams during workshops using Lean expertise
- Proficiency in problem solving techniques (5-why, Fish Bone, A3, etc.)
- Knowledge of MS office, Visio to document process flow, & Excel tools such as pivot tables, and understanding of Business KPIs & Operations Management

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
