A Snapshot of Your Day
As Procurement Subject Matter Expert – Cost Value Engineering you will play a critical role in driving efficiency, innovation, and cost optimization within the CVE function in Procurement. Your responsibilities will span across the various processes and methods in CVE including defining standards, managing competences as well as tracking through KPIs.
In this role you will work in a diverse and dynamic team, collaborate with cross-functions and external service providers. With a wide exposure across organizational departments, you will operate as a business partner towards our internal customers and stakeholders. Your role will be centered around defining, implementing, and continuously improving our CVE processes and methods, as well as fostering collaboration across internal and external functions. The SME ensures efficient utilization of tools, methodology, and best practices, with a focus on business impact.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and continuously improve CVE processes, rolling out standardized methods globally and harmonizing across business areas.
- Maintain and enhance a comprehensive dashboard with CVE business KPIs for monitoring and steering team performance.
- Stay updated on the latest process management techniques and tools, applying advancements within CVE standards.
- Collaborate with internal costumers, partners, and team members to share and promote effective methods, crafting a collection of standards and materials.
- Align and implement clear roles and responsibilities within the CVE community, maintaining competence management.
- Develop and provide role-specific training catalogues and sessions on processes, methods, standards, and roles for the CVE community.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field; Master's degree and/or relevant certifications preferred.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in Cost Value Engineering, Procurement, or related roles.
- Proven track record in business process management, process improvement projects, and familiarity with lean management principles and digital transformation.
- Strong project management skills, including stakeholder management techniques, and experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Fluent in professional English; additional languages like German or Spanish are a plus.
