A Snapshot of Your Day
Imagine stepping into a pivotal role within the Small Gas Turbines (SGT) Procurement team as a Specialist Professional (P4). You will provide expert oversight for key strategic initiatives, managing non-R&D budgeted projects and strategic programs to ensure operational stability and progress towards departmental goals. You will lead project lifecycles from conception to completion, manage associated budgets, and drive continuous improvement through robust reporting and analysis. Your expertise will be essential in collaborating with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders to define project scope and success criteria, while coaching junior professionals to achieve project goals.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will lead the end-to-end management of non-R&D budgeted projects and strategic programs within the Small Gas Turbines procurement function.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, tracking progress against milestones, budgets, and timelines.
• Manage and report on the financial performance of assigned projects, including budget forecasting and variance analysis.
• Conduct complex negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms for project-specific materials and services.
• Prepare detailed progress reports and performance dashboards for Monthly Operational Reviews (MORs) and other leadership forums.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive professional experience as a subject matter expert in procurement and project management, typically gained over several years in a similar corporate environment.
• Proven experience managing large, complex projects or strategic programs with a high degree of autonomy.
• Strong financial acumen for budget management and advanced analytical skills for reporting, including proficiency in Power BI.
• Excellent negotiation skills and a solid understanding of supplier relationship management principles.

About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
