How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Prepare piping components specifications for procurement, piping drawings, and MTO or equivalent experience.
  • Interpret technical specifications of leading consultants such as EIL, TEIL, UHDE, LTC, Technip, Shell DEP, ARAMCO, PDO, etc.
  • Develop and read Package Engineering drawings like P&I Diagrams, General Arrangement, Foundation Plans, piping plans, and piping isometric drawings.
  • Apply your knowledge of rotating equipment, compressors, pumps, engineering calculations, and technical drawing interpretations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in B31.3 piping design and proficiency in AutoCAD for developing General Arrangement Drawings, Piping Plans, isometric drawings, and supports.
  • Apply 3D modeling for packages using Inventor/PDMS/PDS and conduct piping stress analysis with tools like K pipe/CESAR.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of consultant piping specifications, industrial piping design, and fabrication.
  • Adhere to international standards/codes such as ASME, ASTM, API, AWS relevant to piping.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with 2-3 years experience in system design, 3D model development, and component design for rotating equipment systems.
  • Proficiency in developing engineering 3D Models using NX 11.0, PDMS in a Teamcenter environment for packages, balance of plant systems, piping, structural, and tubing designs.
  • Ability to generate models, drawings, and catalogs based on client requirements, order specifications, and other technical standards.
  • Experience in providing back-office engineering support for Siemens Energy operations worldwide, including workshop, vendor, and client site support.
  • Proficiency in preparing engineering specifications for piping materials and valves, crafting packages on AutoCAD, and crafting piping GA & Isometric drawings with MTO or equivalent experience.
  • Skilled in developing PIDs in Comos/AutoCAD and interpreting and implementing simulation study results.
  • Strong understanding of basic calculations for pipe sizing, pressure drops, and other related sizes.
  • Proficiency in liaising with clients and consultants for technical matters, drawing approvals, and 3D model reviews.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP is an added advantage.
