Gain insights into a wide range of areas and processes related to water electrolysis for the production of hydrogen and help us to stay in a leading role within a sector with promising future. How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Conduct a literature review
  • Familiarize yourself with DC grid components and configurations
  • Build detailed PSCAD models of DC grids
  • Perform fault studies and evaluate the results
  • Document your work by writing and submitting your Master’s thesis
  • Please attach a motivation letter to your application
What You Bring
  • Currently enrolled in a university Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of electrical simulation tools; familiarity with PSCAD and MATLAB is a plus
  • Solid theoretical understanding of power systems and power electronic converters and previous experience in power electronics or power system simulations preferred (e.g., relevant Bachelor's thesis, university projects, job experience, lectures, etc.)
  • High level of motivation to work on cutting-edge research topics
  • Ability and willingness to learn new fields and tools; Ability to work independently and with strong intrinsic motivation in a dynamic environment
  • Fluent in English
