About the role
A Snapshot of Your Day
As the head of Marketing Operations functions for the 60Hz market, you will guide your team through the commercialization process for all new and updated products. You will help define the go-to-market strategy, educate and inform both the Sales teams within Siemens Energy as well as the target customers around the world.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Major Modernizations and Upgrades coming out of engineering need to be translated from technical changes to a quantifiable benefit for the customer. This allows our salespeople as well as the end customers to understand how to offer as well as how to justify purchase of our key products
- Engineered products represent fixes can improve operation or maintainability of our various units and components. With these offerings we again communicate the changes and benefits to our sales as well as the end customers that are applicable.
- Product Warnings represent potential hazards to either the site or the people located at site. Siemens Energy takes these seriously and after informing various stakeholders within the company we then communicate directly in writing to the applicable customers.
- Enable sales success globally by creating impactful content and training that empower teams to articulate value and impactful customer bulletins which are delivered directly to the installed base. Also support tracking of impact for upward communication within Sales Operations globally.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 10+ years combined experience in either the power generation industry or a similar technical industry related to Marketing, Sales or another Commercial Role
- Experience writing executive level summaries to position business value and customer outcomes
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Project management, engineering, or field service experience is a plus
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas Services
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
