Siemens Energy - Aero Derivative Gas Turbines (AGT) is currently recruiting a Maintenance Planner in the SGT-A20/A35 portfolio. The position is based out of Romania, working within our growing AGT global organization, alongside a diverse team. In this role, you will work with project management and technical support, to forecast scheduled maintenance & gas turbine overhauls. You will support risk reviews, field service engineer mobilization briefing and capture lessons learned.
The Maintenance Planner will occasionally travel to international customer industrial gas turbine sites for meetings, outage support or spare parts' audits. The Maintenance Planner will make use of the enterprise tools (SAP etc.) to manage parts demand, supervising delivery of spares & project cost.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Schedule of events with major achievements and deliveries following the relevant Siemens Energy processes
- Analyze maintenance plans, available stocks of materials, parts and components
- Forecast scheduled maintenance & gas turbine overhauls
- Manage all logistical elements to ensure scheduled maintenance interventions are completed on time and within budget
- Oversee the hardware demand, order placement, and receipt; collaborate with purchasing and inter-company trading to get quotations and hardware delivered
- Collaborate with the warehouse and shipping team supporting the logistics of moving spares and equipment to meet outage needs
- Create work packs to support maintenance team (Long Term Program support, Modifications & Upgrades, Ad Hoc services)
- Work closely with Technical Support to verify maintenance schedules and method statements for all scheduled and preventative maintenance activity
- Schedule personnel with the field service team, to support site outage work scope and schedule
- Review both customer & Siemens Energy spares at sites, checking for obsolescence & reviewing consignment stock levels
- Support continuous improvement as part of fulfilling the role including required documentation to capture specific improvements via the Quality team
- Work with supply chain to ensure spares and tooling provisioning in line with lead time
- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities for the service program
- Complete the full maintenance planner accountability for your assigned customers
What You Bring
- Certified or working toward IPMA / APM certification
- BSc in Engineering or Management degree, however MSc is preferred
- 4+ years experience in planning/engineering and/or cost management roles with knowledge of required services delivered for a related field, preferably Gas Turbines in the Oil & Gas or Power Generation Markets.
- Able to interact and coordinate with a worldwide regionally structured organization
- The successful applicant will be a motivated, adaptive and driven individual with the ability to multitask and support multiple projects
- Experience working in MS Office, e.g. PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, OnePM/Clarizen, Salesforce, SAP, planning tools
- Interest in becoming integrated in the team and attending the office (3 days per week)
