As an I&C Engineer in the power plant, your day involves reviewing control system designs, conducting site inspections, and fixing instrumentation issues to ensure efficient performance. You collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage with clients for project updates, and maintain detailed documentation to support compliance and operational efficiency. Your role is essential in improving the reliability and safety of power generation systems.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform tasks related to the instruments and control team on-site, ensuring high-quality work results.
• Continuously improve technical knowledge through training courses, personal study, and practical field experience.
• Enforce health and safety laws to ensure personal and team safety.
• Provide interdepartmental support based on plant needs and requirements.
• Manage tools and inventory, including calibration and repair responsibilities.
• Show initiative and responsibility, emphasizing results that align with Siemens’ standards of quality and cleanliness.

What You Bring

• Minimum 3 years of experience in power plants or oil fields, with 2-5 years preferred in instrumentation and control systems design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication, fixing, and technical skills, with the ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
• High level of integrity, adaptability, and effective emergency response capabilities; must be a great teammate.
• Familiarity with calibration principles, general tool usage, and alignment with safety instructions.
• Language proficiency: Required in Kurdish and English (spoken and written); Arabic proficiency is preferable.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
