We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial HVAC System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, installation supervision, commissioning management, and maintenance planning of HVAC systems in industrial settings. This role requires a strong technical background in HVAC engineering, excellent project management skills, and a commitment to ensuring optimal system performance and energy efficiency.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and design HVAC systems tailored to industrial applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications. Use software tools for load calculations, system modeling, and equipment selection.
- Supervise the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring that all work is performed according to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship.
- Lead the commissioning process for HVAC systems, including functional testing, performance verification, and system optimization. Ensure that all systems operate efficiently and meet design criteria before handover to the client.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for HVAC systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance schedules. Ensure that maintenance activities are carried out following industry standard methodologies and manufacturer recommendations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams regarding HVAC system operation, troubleshooting, and optimization. Address inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including design specifications, installation manuals, commissioning reports, and maintenance logs. Ensure all documentation is accurate and accessible.
- Ensure that all HVAC systems align with relevant local, national, and international regulations and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA, LEED). Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry best practices.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial HVAC systems.
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles, system design, and equipment selection. Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP) is preferred.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose complex HVAC system issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical partners.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC design, energy management, or project management (e.g., LEED, PMP) are a plus.
