A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you will be the key link between our automation systems and digitalization initiatives, ensuring detailed integration from the shop floor to the cloud. You will work on bridging operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT), deploying secure and robust industrial applications, and enabling data-driven services for our customers. Your expertise in industrial communication standards, automation technologies, and cloud ecosystems will enable us to deliver creative solutions for boosting plant efficiency.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Act as the technical interface between automation engineers, digitalization teams, and IT/cloud specialists.
• Design, configure, and implement secure connectivity between field devices, control systems, and digital platforms.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain industrial applications both on-premise and in cloud/hybrid environments.
• Optimize data acquisition, processing, and integration from SCADA/DCS/PLC systems to higher-level digital services.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, networking, and industrial communication standards.
• Tackle, maintain, and continuously improve data pipelines from sensors to enterprise applications.
• Support project teams in developing scalable and reliable architectures for condition monitoring, predictive analytics, and performance optimization.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of professional experience in industrial automation, digitalization, or related areas.
• Solid background in industrial automation systems (PCS 7, SIMATIC, or similar) and OT infrastructure.
• Solid grasp of industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus, PROFINET, MQTT).
• Experience in deploying and configuring industrial applications on physical, virtualized, and cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS, or similar).
• Proficiency in industrial networking, cybersecurity, and system integration.
• Hands-on experience with edge computing, gateways, and IoT platforms.
• Proven programming abilities in Python for automating, data manipulation, and combining responsibilities.
• Ability to bridge OT and IT requirements, translating operational needs into digital solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in multi-disciplinary, international teams.
• Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficient English; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
