A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be responsible for Service Management including integration with backend systems, ServiceNow, and other interfaces. You will also be responsible for service cost, to deliver the best cloud infrastructure at most optimal cost. Analyze, create and implement complex public cloud-based solution designs according to customer requirements in close alignment with the system integrator, considering current security guidelines. 


How You’ll Make an Impact (Responsibilities)

  • Apply suitable strategies and technology framework in cloud computing and automation
  • Provide architectural leadership and best practices
  • Collaborate with specialist teams and central IT units to integrate the specific solutions into the corporate context
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, internal IT departments and system integrator providing updates on customer progress and ensuring execution by partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define the internal infrastructure road map for hosted systems
  • Implementation and development of vital ITIL processes
  • Ensure critical applications are designed and optimized for high availability and disaster recovery
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert to the organization for cloud end-to-end architecture, including, Azure, GCP and future providers, networking, provisioning and management
  • Responsible for organization’s cloud computing infrastructure and costs. Get maximum business value by managing cloud infrastructure costs, optimizing spend delivering the best infrastructure at reasonable cost
  • Development and continuous improvement of service requests, incident management, customer satisfaction (CSAT) and collaborating with service providers.
  • Serve as primary lead for platforms – Web, Database, Terminal Server and Managed Servers
  • Deliver the best cloud infrastructure at efficient cost

What You Bring (Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related subject
  • 5+ years’ experience designing and operating managed file space, managed servers, and platforms in cloud environment, preferably Google Cloud.
  • NetApp CVO architecture and configuration knowledge and experience in Caching and Tiering.
  • Experience in GCP or Azure file services
  • Demonstrated knowledge of key concepts - DFS, File shares, Managed Folders, Permissions, Active Directory, GPOs, Group management
  • Knowledge of DC Networks, Backup/ Restore, Disaster Recovery, Anti-Virus
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (VPCs, projects, firewalls, multi-tenancy, orchestration, security, high availability, etc.)
  • Expertise in metrics and analytics
  • High affinity to modern IT infrastructure and knowledge of the essential, current technological trends in IT
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to present and discuss complex technical information in a clear and understandable fashion to the leadership team
  • Validated architecture and service management skills according to ITIL practices
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Technical certifications e.g. GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Azure Fundamentals
  • Proven project management and delivery experience across multiple countries, locations
  • 20% travel required
