A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be responsible for overseeing preventive maintenance activities at customer sites, following the guidelines of the Long Term Service Agreement. This role involves supporting smooth service operations, maintaining good relationships with customers, and helping ensure reliable system performance.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of SPPA-T3000 DCS at PCP Petronas Pengerang, including resource and material planning.
  • Provide on-call support for maintenance activities and manage a service desk to track and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems, handling customer concerns to maintain positive relationships.
  • Supervise service engineers and subcontractors during service execution, supporting customers remotely and onsite with second and third-level assistance.
  • Coordinate service operations, contribute to sales lead generation, and assist in planning activities.
  • Prepare reports on incidents, follow up with hotline/R&D in Germany if needed, and support subcontractor management and technical service development.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Instrument & Control, Electronics, IT, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience with DCS T3000 systems in I&C within oil & gas, petrochemical, or power plant environments.
  • Willingness to be based in Pengerang, Johor, Malaysia.
  • Basic leadership and communication skills.
  • Customer service orientation with good English communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage work pressure and maintain composure in stressful situations.
