As part of the Digital Grid organization, as Head of Operations (EU & Asia Pacific) (f/m/d) within the Grid Enhancing Technologies, you will be leading an international and diverse team to execute projects across the grid enhancing portfolio, drive the customer success journey, collaborate with development and market application teams and manage diverse stakeholders to achieve operational targets and ensure customer satisfaction.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

• Overseeing daily regional operations, managing and mentoring regional teams
• Playing a key role in the definition of operational structures, project management, engineering and delivery
• Establishing a regional operational network at the several locations within the internal resources and partnerships
• Engaging in deep collaboration with adjacent business units and functions to weave innovative solutions into the fabric of our portfolio, supply chain management and resources coordination
• Defining, monitoring and acting to perform with excellence, focusing on quality deliverables and improvements on cost positions
• Championing a culture of multi-cultural environments
• Establishing and nurturing strong industry relationships, thereby positioning the organization as a leader in grid enhancing technologies through strategic insights and customer-centric solutions.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Broad experience in the energy sector, particularly in areas related to monitoring systems of power transmission and distribution equipment, operations management and customer success (7+ years' experience required. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.)
• A proven track record of involvement in diverse initiatives within operational business, engineering, project management and assembling execution.
• Experience in adapting to and navigating the complexities of the power transmission and distribution landscape, with a keen eye on future trends and technological advancements.
• An inherent ability to travel as needed to align with strategic business objectives and stakeholder engagements, both regionally and globally.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, showcasing the ability to influence and drive initiatives across multidisciplinary teams and geographical boundaries.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at managing relationships within a multi-stakeholder environment, prioritizing effectively, and guiding strategic discussions towards actionable outcomes.
• Proficiency in English. German is additionally relevant

• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the EU without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
