A Snapshot of your day

Siemens Energy is transforming its HR systems landscape, and organizational management alongside headcount planning is a key element of this journey. We are looking for a hands‑on HR System Expert to manage and configure our organizational structures and headcount planning app. You will ensure that org units, positions and planning data are accurate and up to date, support planning cycles, and help the business use these tools effectively. This role requires strong system knowledge, a quality‑driven mindset and the independence to deliver solutions end‑to‑end without extensive collaboration with IT or Legal.

How you'll make a difference

• Maintain organizational data. Configure and update org units, positions, reporting lines and attributes to keep the organizational model correct and reliable. Ensure each position has clear attributes and a unique identifier so that roles are easy to track and align with company goals.

• Support planning periods. Prepare and run planning cycles (e.g. workforce and structural planning) in the system, ensuring data readiness, correct system logic and smooth execution. Analyse workforce data to identify gaps or redundancies and help plan structural changes.

• Operate the headcount planning module. Maintain and configure the headcount planning app for headcount requests, budgeting and forecasting. Ensure data accuracy and usability for business stakeholders and track plan versus actual hiring to avoid over‑ or under‑staffing.

• Safeguard data quality. Monitor system data, perform audits and coordinate correction processes. Consolidate workforce data to ensure a single source of truth and reliable reporting.

• Provide expert system support. Act as the go‑to person for HR colleagues when it comes to system usage, configuration and best practices. Provide clear guidance, documentation and training sessions for global users.

• Drive improvements. Collect feedback, analyse usage and propose improvements to simplify processes, improve usability and enhance data quality. Standardise processes for updating and managing positions to ensure consistency.

What you bring

• Between 3-5 years experience with HR systems. You have practical experience with organizational management and/or workforce planning modules and understand how to configure and maintain positions, org charts and headcount planning tools.

• Strong technical understanding. You are confident in system configuration, data structures and rules. You have a quality and detail‑oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and compliance of organizational and planning data.

• Independent and solution‑oriented. You can take ownership of tasks, prioritise your work and deliver solutions without needing close supervision.

• Stakeholder communication. You communicate clearly with HR and business stakeholders, guiding them on system usage and planning processes. You can explain complex system concepts in simple terms.

• Experience with planning processes. Knowledge of workforce planning, budgeting or headcount forecasting processes and related data management is beneficial.

• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

About the Team

You will be working within the Human Resources function – People Systems and Services, a truly global and diverse team of specialists with an open mindset, responsible for guaranteeing operational performance and budget adherence of HR systems & services, ensuring and maintaining fit‑for‑purpose HR systems and processes, safeguarding end‑to‑end delivery while promoting Siemens Energy’s digital transformation. You will get all the trust and empowerment to be successful.
