A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee our US Repair Operations financial activities. In this role, you will lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, developing financial forecasts with each Repair location, analyzing variances, and supporting budget development. This role requires strong leadership, good analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Develop and consolidate financial forecasts, leading monthly review meetings with the four US Repair Centers to assess performance and alignment with targets
  • Analyze variances between planned forecasts and actual results, providing insights on project margins and revenue impacts.

·       Assist in the development of service center budgets by supplying historical financial data and establishing Book/Bill targets to optimize financial performance.

  • Participate in monthly accounts receivable collection calls, reviewing and approving credit memos and A/R write-offs.
  • Manage the audit process by reviewing requests and providing necessary support during the explanation process to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Attend quarterly balance sheet review meetings and execute follow-up actions to address any identified issues.
  • Oversee and support the service center financial analysts, addressing revenue recognition inquiries and conducting performance reviews.
  • Facilitate the Quote Review Process by reviewing and approving requests and executive work authorization documents in accordance with established signature authority levels.

What You Bring (requirements)

  • 10+ years of experience in project controlling, commercial finance, business administration, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • Analytical thinking, result and quality-oriented, solid professional judgment and problem-solving ability are required competencies

  • Experience working in Repair Center or Manufacturing environment is preferred

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
