A Snapshot of Your Day
With focus on our business in Belgium, we are looking for a Commercial Project Manager within the Siemens Energy Transformation of Industry Business Area. You will be responsible for project planning and execution in close cooperation with project manager.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Financial responsibility for projects and transactional business
- Supports the Project Manager in managing and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care
- You have full responsibility for all commercial/finance-related matters, including but not limited to handling Accounting, Legal, Tax, Foreign exchange currency, guarantees
- Ensures accurate methodology for identifying, evaluating, assessing risks & opportunities and mitigation activities.
- Ensures the accuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project financials, incl. recording of such in appropriate systems, e.g., SAP.
- Prepares commercial documentation for regular status meetings and ensures the accuracy of financials
- You ensure compliance with IFRS15, local GAAP requirements, reporting guidelines, and internal controls.
- Responsible for monthly revenue recognition and contractual invoicing
- Commercial support during Sales Phase
- Responsible for Forecast and Budget activities, Cost center controlling
- Account receivables & payables management
What You Bring
- You hold a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent based on experience
- At least 2 years of experience as a commercial or controlling position
- Well-founded knowledge in the area of project controlling and project reporting including corresponding standards and processes
- Good command of MS Office and SAP
- Ability to work and connect in a remote team
- English and Dutch language knowledge on a business conversational level is a must
- Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer, result and quality orientation and motivation, as well as personal initiative
