How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead strategic, cross-plant projects focused on cost-out initiatives and process harmonization, partnering with Engineering and Purchasing.
• Manage all operational, commercial, and financial processes, including margin transparency and support for offer, project, and claim management.
• Steer key performance indicators such as order intake, revenue, profitability, and free cash flow, ensuring monthly closing, P&L and balance sheet accuracy, and variance analysis.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and CAPEX controlling, ensuring compliance with industrial and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the primary interface for auditors and consultants, ensuring statutory financial statements meet local governance standards and actively promote digitalization within the plant.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• You have at least 8 years of experience in finance or controlling within a manufacturing or industrial plant environment, with at least 2/3 years of leadership roles.
• You bring solid expertise in controlling, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and statutory requirements, ideally within an Italian legal entity.
• You demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial mindset, high ownership, and confidence in working with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• You are fluent in English (spoken and written); Italian proficiency is a plus.

You join a dedicated finance team of around 10 professionals at the Trento transformer plant, working together to ensure efficient and reliable finance processes. The team’s mission is to drive operational and financial performance, support strategic projects, and maintain compliance with local and international standards. Collaboration with Sales, Project Management, Purchasing, and Engineering is central to their work, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. The team values high product proximity, enabling strong identification with the plant’s output and its impact on the business. You’ll work in a supportive environment where knowledge sharing and professional development are encouraged. The team regularly interacts with international colleagues, providing exposure to broader commercial and finance management opportunities within Siemens Energy.
