A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Finance Business Analyst (f/m/d) for our Distribution Transformers business, covering six manufacturing locations worldwide, you will play a key role in supporting strategic Sales, T&O and DS initiatives while ensuring financial transparency and performance.
Working closely with plant controllers, performance analysts and cross-functional stakeholders, you will translate financial insights into business actions, harmonize reporting standards and contribute to productivity and cost optimization programs. Your work will help ensure that investments in innovation, digitalization and operational efficiency deliver measurable value and strengthen our position as a leading provider of reliable and sustainable transformer solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and operational excellence initiatives (e.g. productivity and cost-out programs) for Sales, T&O and DS across six global manufacturing sites.
  • Consolidate, monitor and report key financial KPIs and expenditures while ensuring compliance with internal standards and external requirements.
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports (e.g. Order Intake, Target Costing, Pricing and Margin Slippage) to support data-driven management decisions.
  • Evaluate business cases for portfolio development, technology investments, process automation and resource optimization initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Management and DS teams to assess financial requirements and support strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate and guide plant controllers and performance analysts, driving standardized reporting, benchmarking and transparency across all sites.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial controlling, ideally within manufacturing, industrial or energy-related environments.
  • Expertise in financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis, combined with a solid understanding of operational excellence principles.
  • Experience working in a multi-site and international business environment with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English, German is an advantage and willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10–20%).
