A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)

The Finance AI & Analytics Architect within Commercial Project Management is a strategic and technical leader responsible for driving, data processing, visualization and integration of advanced analytics, AI/ML capabilities with the goal of process automation within the CPM/ Finance function. This role combines expertise in data science, technology architecture, and visualization to deliver predictive insights, intelligent workflows, and scalable finance solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
  • Data Engineering & Visualization:
    - Design and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for clean, reliable financial data.
    - Build interactive dashboards and visualization platforms using Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud for real-time reporting.
  • Technology Architecture & Automation:
    - Architect and integrate data solutions from ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA) and other business databases with Snowflake for scalable data solutions.
  • Utilize Alteryx for advanced data preparation and automation.
    - Implement RPA using UiPath and intelligent workflows to automate repetitive finance processes.
  • AI & Predictive Modeling:
    - Utilize GenAI and deploy AI agents to automate workflows.
  • Implement predictive and prescriptive analytics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models for forecasting, risk management, and performance optimization.
  • Governance, Compliance and Automation Ambassador:
    - Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across all AI and analytics initiatives.
    - Collaborate with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
    -Act as automation ambassador multiplying your knowledge and being the champion for process efficiency ensuring adoption among the CPM and PM community.
What You Bring (requirements):
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in finance transformation, data analytics, or technology architecture.
  • Proven experience in AI/ML model development and deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of finance processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
