We have a need for a skilled NDT Field Service Engineer. Our NDT Field Service Engineer travels to power plant sites across México, Central and South America to provide nondestructive testing services.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Prepare for and support field service jobs at power plants located at domestic and international job sites.
• Perform field inspections per Siemens Energy requirements.
• Travel (up to 80% annually for this position) to power plant sites.
• Support customer power plant outage planning by ensuring the timely delivery of tools, personnel, and field inspection activities through the application of field service systems and procedures.
• Support the development of new and continuous improvement of existing specialty service applications and tooling for use in the field.
• On-site and off-site technical and operational support in the design, development, installation and maintenance of equipment and systems of a complex nature. Communicate technology and inspection findings to global Siemens Energy team members and with internal and external customers.

What You Bring 

• NDT Training, Experience and Certifications (level II) in 4 of these methods (UT, ET, PT, MT, VT & RT).

• University Degree in Mechanical Engineer or similar (bachelor’s degree).

• Professional Experience (4+ years) as NDT.
• Must be Self-Driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.
• Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments.
• This position requires traveling approximately 80% of the time; therefore, the candidate may be based in any city in Mexico.
• Advanced English proficiency is mandatory.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
