A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Electrical Designer in Power Transformers within the Electrical & Mechanical Design team in Guanajuato, your day will focus on designing and validating electrical systems for transformer applications that support a critical factory expansion. You will work on creating and refining schematics, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring designs meet quality and performance standards. You will also perform testing, troubleshooting, and technical analysis to guarantee reliable product implementation. This role combines design ownership with hands-on validation to support business continuity and growth.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop electrical designs and schematics for transformer components and systems using AutoCAD and other engineering tools
  • Apply engineering design processes to create or modify designs according to project and manufacturing requirements
  • Collaborate in new product development initiatives, contributing to system design and simulation efforts
  • Perform simulations, testing, and validation to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with standards
  • Troubleshoot and debug electrical systems, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including drawings, specifications, and bills of material

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Early-career experience in electrical design (0–4 years), preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design tools, along with advanced English language skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting and debugging
  • Experience with control systems and electronic components
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and testing methodologies
