A Snapshot of Your Day
We are looking for a Data Architect to define, govern, and further develop the architecture of our procurement analytics platform. The role focuses on establishing scalable and reliable data and analytics architectures, including technical standards, data governance frameworks, and architectural guidelines. You will collaborate with external consulting partners, internal data engineering and analytics teams, and procurement stakeholders to ensure high-quality, consistent implementation and long-term sustainability. A key objective is to ensure enterprise procurement data is well-structured, integrated, and governed to support advanced analytics and AI use cases, with a strong focus on Generative AI and Agentic AI for procurement decision-making, automation, and insights.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Define and maintain the architecture and standards for the enterprise data platform.
- Establish and enforce data governance, development guidelines, and quality standards.
- Provide architectural oversight for data pipelines, models, and integrations delivered by external consultants.
- Review and validate implementations to ensure alignment with architectural principles and best practices.
- Support the creation of reliable data foundations for GenAI and Agentic AI use cases.
- Promote modern engineering practices, including version control and CI/CD
What You Bring
- Experience in data architecture or senior data engineering within modern cloud data platforms.
- Strong expertise in SQL, Snowflake, and data modeling frameworks (e.g., dbt).
- Solid Python skills for data processing, automation, or platform tooling.
- Experience with API integrations, data streaming architectures, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
- Understanding of SAP data structures in Supply Chain Management divison, SAP MM (SAP FI knowledge is an advantage).
- Experience establishing data governance frameworks and guiding external delivery teams.
