A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Construction Project Manager (f/m/d), you will manage and oversee the construction of new office and industrial facilities in Nürnberg. You will oversee projects from initial planning through execution and final handover, ensuring that all activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to Siemens Energy quality standards. Working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and local authorities, you will drive project success through effective site management, proactive risk mitigation, and transparent communication. Your expertise in industrial construction will contribute directly to the expansion and modernization of Siemens Energy's real estate portfolio while supporting the company's long-term growth strategy.
How You’ll Make an Impact - Lead and manage on-site construction activities for industrial building projects, ensuring compliance with project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors, consultants, and execution teams throughout all project phases, from construction start to final acceptance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, budgets, schedules, risk assessments, and progress reporting structures.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks while implementing corrective actions to avoid delays, cost overruns, and quality issues.
- Serve as the primary interface between internal stakeholders, external partners, contractors, and local authorities to ensure effective project execution and alignment.
- Drive sustainability, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives by incorporating energy-efficient solutions and modern project management practices into construction projects.
What You Bring- Master’s degree or equivalent in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
- Long-term professional experience managing industrial construction projects, ideally within an international or multinational environment.
- Proven expertise in construction project management, industrial facility construction, contract management, and project lifecycle execution.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and certifications such as PMP, IPMA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, leadership, budget control, risk management, quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) standards.
- Professional proficiency in both German and English, with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
