A Snapshot of Your Day 

As Commercial Sales and Project Manager in the Subregion Germany, you are responsible for the commercial management of ongoing projects and support the sales team in preparing and negotiating service contracts for gas turbines. You take full ownership of all commercial and contractual matters.

Together with the Project Manager, you are accountable for the project’s success and financial performance. You collaborate closely with various departments, follow internal processes and guidelines, utilize digital tools, and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external regulations.


How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • You will lead the commercial assessment, analysis, and negotiation of project proposals, ensuring full alignment with contractual obligations and financial objectives. Through close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will help develop commercially robust and strategically sound offers that support sustainable business growth.
  • You will play an active role in structuring and finalizing customer contracts and contribute to Siemens Energy risk release process (LoA). By working closely with technical sales and project management teams, you will ensure consistent commercial alignment across all phases—from initial proposal development to project execution.
  • You will take full commercial ownership of projects, overseeing all phases from planning to execution in accordance with PM company guidelines and contractual obligations. This includes managing all commercial aspects in close coordination with internal and external stakeholders, while driving controlling and reporting activities to ensure transparency, compliance, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • You will actively manage receivables, claims, and contractual matters to ensure the financial success of each project. This includes identifying and enforcing legitimate claims, assessing commercial risks, and coordinating closely with customers and internal departments to resolve issues efficiently and in alignment with project objectives.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a comparable qualification
  • Long term professional experience in business administration or finance, ideally with a background in sales and project execution
  • Certification as a Commercial Project Manager (CPM/CPM-S) and solid project experience as well as strong knowledge of US-GAAP and IFRS, especially in applying the Percentage-of-Completion (PoC) method
  • Basic understanding of contract law, LoA procedures, and handling of guarantees as well as proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, preferably SAP (Atlas/PS1)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team and customer-oriented mindset with a high level of initiative and accountability
  • Fluent in German and English; additional language skills are a plus and willingness to travel within Europe

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
