As a Commercial Bid Manager, you will take responsibility for the requirements of our internal clients, their translation into bid strategy and the validation of ideas within the bid team. U Implementation of project strategies such as business model.
Development of sustainable business models for new business areas based on client challenges for innovation and value creation as well as proactive risk management considering client specification.
- Responsibility for the requirements of our internal customers, translate them into bid strategies and validate ideas within the offer team as well as developing, owning and constantly challenging the Sales Calculation aligned with Bid Management, Sales and Regional Company (if applicable) as well as other project stakeholders
- Acknowledging Digitalization and Transformation as key element, exploring digitalization solutions to streamline and optimize Bid management landscape
- Responsibility for the project sales calculation, risk management, observance and adjustment of processes as well as implementation of project strategies such as but not limited to Business Model (e.g. NCM,) FX, tax, contractual setup)
- Developing sustainable business models for new business fields based on customer challenges for innovation and value creation as well as performing a pro-active Risk Management in consideration of client specification, contract requirements and related cost calculation
- Key player in exploring on Financing Concepts as well as providing input and support Sales regarding Alignment Meetings (BRC3, 2 and 1)
- Performing regular review and updates of Central processes such as LoA, Sales Force, etc. as well as ensuring Global Governance of Proposal Tools and Processes
- Acting as a Commercial Counterpart of the General Bid Manager and take ownership of all financial matters in the benefit of the Execution Unit acting with a global mindset, develop your own network and work independently with solution orientation, driving Sales and aligning Project Execution is key to secure project needs
- Completed (Dual) Study of Economics alternatively professional education “Industriekaufmann w/m/d (IHK)”
- At least 5 years of experience in Sales / Bid Management / Business Controlling and / or Project Execution
- Fluent language skills in English and German
- Flexibility in working arrangements
