A Snapshot of Your Day
On a typical day, you start with a review of the latest Gas Turbine Blades & Vanes Design and Manufacturing updates. You discuss with your partners the implementation plans based on supply and operational capabilities and move to research all technical requirements to create the necessary instructions that facilitate the logistics. You spend part of your day with unit-specific clarifications and collecting data on the implementation progress and effectiveness of existing solutions. To round-up your day, you generate ideas with your peers on operational potential of the components you oversee and submit those to the Product Managers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Monitoring of the operation of Gas Turbines Blades & Vanes with a focus on technical issues and respective mitigation measures
- Analysis of the applicability of solutions and the implementation plan of new and refurbished Blades & Vanes into individual Gas Turbines and across the fleet
- Creation of technical instructions (Basic Solutions and Engineering Requests), communication, and tracking of the implementation and its effects
- Participation in projects to investigate technical issues and generation of fixes and solutions
- Maintenance of a database reflecting components' technical capabilities versus operational parameters
What You Bring
- Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical or Materials)
- Many years of experience in Technical Projects
- Preferably deep Knowledge of Gas Turbines operation and Blades & Vanes characteristics
- Broad experience with software applications and databases
- Solution-driven team player
- Fluency in English and preferably also German

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
