A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Blade Features Engineer, you´ll drive the development and implementation of sophisticated blade features, including aerodynamic add-ons and protection systems, to optimize wind turbine efficiency and reliability. Your day involves planning, technical design, and risk management while collaborating with multi-functional teams to support the entire value chain, from procurement to production and quality management.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform electric and FE simulations of blades electrical systems and components;
• Lead the development of electrical models to support product development and optimization;
• Analyze test and field data to continuously validate and improve models;
• Translate electrical modelling results into design principles and validation methods;
• Drive innovation and conceptualize how new technologies can lead to improved lightning protection systems;
• Be an extension the Blade Technology department and the organization;

What You Bring

A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…

• Master’s or PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace, Physics, Maritime, Electrical Engineering, or Wind Energy;
• Strong knowledge and experience in electrical engineering principles;
• Ability to connect electrical topics with mechanical or structural risks;
• Proven experience in electrical modeling and simulation,
• Excellent communication skills in English; Portuguese is a plus;
• Structured, independent worker capable of handling multiple tasks effectively;
